How to Stop Feeling So Unmotivated. In 4 small steps.

So, I know how terrible it can feel day after day never having the energy to do anything. Waking up and just wanting to go back to bed .

For the past 5 months that was my life. My house was such a wreck that I would cry most of the day. My head was telling me to clean but my body wouldn’t allow it. I hadn’t completely start to finish cleaned my dishes until this week. For the first time in months I got them done. And I’ve been doing them everyday.

Now I can’t promise that the things that worked for me will work for you, I just want to give my steps that I took to get to my happier place.

Start taking vitamins!

I started taking a once a day multivitamin everyday for my essential needs, but I added a few others for personal reasons. I also take vitamin D-3 which helps immensely with my depression and bad mood. I also take vitamin B-12 which helps boost energy. Once I was taking these for around 3 or 4 days straight I could tell I was starting to feel better

If you smoke, try your best to quit!

I used to smoke a pack a day, it was taking a toll on my breathing and my anxiety. I slowly started to slow down by taking one or 2 hits at a time and then putting it out. I’m down to anywhere from 2-4 cigarettes a day now. Hopefully none very soon. In quitting I have been proud of myself, I feel much more able to be active without feeling heart palpitations.

Start going to bed earlier!!!

I cant stress this one enough guys! I was staying up until 3 and 4am mindlessly scrolling through tiktok or youtube or pinterest. Believe me when I say, making sure you’re in bed by at least 11 or 11:30pm will make TONS of difference in your life. On your energy and mood.

Meditate!

When I meditate, most of the time I feel absolutely ridiculous. I watched a video somewhere that said you dont have to do anything special to meditate. Just lay in bed for the next 5 minutes after you wake up completely still and think about 3-5 things you are grateful for. All while breathing deeply in for 5 seconds and out for 5 seconds. Think about how you want your day to go!

Like I said guys, I can’t 100% promise you this will work for you. It has made all the difference in my life, I’m hoping that sharing my small steps will help someone with their’s.
